Welcome to Forwards Counselling
My name is Sarah and I am a Counsellor and trainee Clinical Supervisor. I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in a safe, confidential environment. I am here to listen to you and you will be free to express yourself without fear of judgement or criticism. Through the process of counselling, together we will find ways of working through your present feelings and thoughts, which will enable you to move forwards in a more positive, happier and rewarding way.
If you are feeling isolated and alone in your thoughts it may help to reach out to a Counsellor. Your relationship with others may be affected or suffering. If it would help to have someone to listen to you, someone who won't judge you - I am here for you.
You may be feeling at a crossroads in your life - perhaps, overwhelmed by anxiety, stress or depression. You may have some worries, be feeling lonely, confused, unheard or your self-esteem is low and affecting your confidence. It may be hard to see clearly through your present thoughts and feelings and this can make it difficult to envisage the way forward.
My clients are Individuals, Couples, Families, Teenagers and Young People, who visit me from many places including Tiverton, Exeter and Barnstaple and surrounding areas. I am passionate and committed to helping you find a more positive way forward through your difficulties and worries, anxiety and depression.
I am genuine, warm, open, caring, compassionate, honest and non-judgemental. I understand how daunting it can be to take that first huge step to seek counselling and therapy, but once we meet, I hope to alleviate your fears and anxiety by putting you at ease so that you will feel that you are in a safe place where you will be heard. Each client brings their own unique experiences, concerns, anxieties, worries, hopes, fears, wishes and goals.
